ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY - APPELLATE LAW PALM BEACH COUNTY

The Palm Beach County Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Assistant County Attorney. Membership in The Florida Bar is required. Excellent academic record is also preferred. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in civil appellate law is preferred, but exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered. Must have ability to represent the County in various types of appeals in federal and state court and to provide litigation support to civil litigation attorneys on appellate issues. The duties of the position will mainly be appellate-related, but the attorney may be required to provide some non-appellate department representation or litigation as needed. Experience in local government law is desired. Must have diligent work ethic, strong interpersonal skills, and be a team player. Certification by the Florida Bar in Appellate Law is preferred.
